Really around ‘98… battling… my boy D Brown baited me into it.
You received a landmark deal from Sony a few years back to the grand
total of $1.7 million. How’d you hook that up?

I just felt the need to get out of there when Sony Urban closed down.
Took a while but with the help of K.P., Big Chuck, and Chilli over at
1st & 15th… I was able to finagle my way out.
Did you get a chance to hold onto any of that advance money?
Of course… not all of it tho! Lol
How’d you hook up with Mack 10?
Mack and I ran across each other twice before I was signed… I gave him my first cd back then. We kept cool contact. Coincidently I was in his office discussing a blog I wrote about Jay Z & “Kingdom Come”, when K.P. called me and said he was able to negotiate a release. One O wouldn’t let me without signing….
You have an interesting deal. When did cash money come into the fold?
As we were thinkin of doing a deal with Universal, Baby and Mack were having a ballerific conversation. Mack told Stunna he had signed me.Stunna wanted to hear some songs being he had heard of me. From then on Stunna felt he had to be part of the deal.
You got your own situation also under that umbrella. What are your plans for Blu division?

Where’d you get the name Glasses Malone?
Glasses is my neighborhood name. Nigga blind as hell.
My big homie Pluc gave me that name. It just stuck. I put in so much street work under my name, I’d be dam too start over with a rapper name.
