RUMOR CONTROL: Mike is Aiight!!!

Michael Jackson is "in fine health" and does not need a lung transplant, his representative has said in a statement.

Writer Ian Halperin - who has penned a biography about the so-called King of Pop - had claimed Jackson, 50, suffered from failing sight and requires a lung transplant as he is suffering from the rare respiratory disease alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency.

Halperin also told the Sunday Express the Thriller star suffered from emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding.

In response, Jackson's spokesman - Dr Tohme - said Halperin's "wild allegations" were a "total fabrication".
